FM Static is a two-piece Toronto-based pop punk band. The band was started as a side project by Thousand Foot Krutch frontman Trevor McNevan, and drummer Steve Augustine. The original lineup included John Bunner on guitar and Justin Smith on bass. Even the artwork for My Brain Says Stop, But My Heart Says Go is loaded with energy and a tongue of cheek sense of humor, finding the fellas sporting ’70′s hairstyles and facial hair, complete with McNevan playing a police officer pulling over Augustine. But the zaniness is also balanced with the guys’ steadfast commitment to connecting with fans on a personal level, with the overall hope of inspiring them to live out the life of their dreams and whatever their calling may dictate. FM Static is sure not to disappoint with their 4th studio album entitled “My Brain Says Stop, But My Heart Says Go!” Featuring the singles “Last Train Home,” “My Brain Says Stop, But My Heart Says Go!!”, and many more that you are sure to love.
