The Collett brothers are a classically- and pop-trained duo that is taking the local scene by storm. Accolades include coming 1st and 2nd respectively, in the International Moderling & Talent Association (IMTA) convention in 2010. Previous winners include Eva Longoria, Ashton Kutcher, Katie Holmes and Elijah Wood. They’ve performed alongside Jannie Moolman at the Afrikaans Musiek Fees 10 – and blew the audience away with their powerful adaptation of Nessun Dorma. The album contains old favourites: Al lê Die Berge Nog so blou’ featuring multi-SAMA-award winning flautist Wouter Kellerman, Nessun Dorma and Ave Maria – as well as wonderful renditions of The Story and Sirkels Om Die Son (Chasing Cars). The album is diverse in it’s tehnicality and the Twins prove their worth with the hugely popular Israel Kamakawiwoʻole version of What A Wonderful World and Leonard Cohen’s Halleluja.
